sometimes we just wanna leave;
Monday, August 31, 2009 Today was great, to say at the very least. It's not everyday you can just let go of all the expectations that are heaved upon you and expect to carry it normally like no one else's business. Guess nowadays the times where we can just be ourselves normally don't come by that often already, huh. The two YYs were awesome and everything, and around them everything just seems so...natural. Like, every single move I make doesn't seemed judged, just accepted without question. It's kind of nice to think that there are some people that actually don't think of you as a title, but just who you are. Watched The Proposal. I suppose it was, in general, a pretty good movie. Though some facts here and there were wrong and stuff, the antics throughout the entire movie was just hilarious. From the naked scene to the witch is on her broom nonsense, it's really quite awesome. The atmosphere of the movie was generally nice, but Yi Yun's sporadic crying was...scary. Scary in a good way, like, over emotional way. Overall today was one of the more exhilarating days this year. Apart from SLC, of course. That doesn't count (since it's THE more awesome thing this year thus far). Parting words, EWM! :D can we get through this avalanche;
Saturday, August 22, 2009 Decided to change skin for a little variation. It's become kinda quite ever since the Sabah people left. Kind of lonely, if you ask me. :X Looking forward to training soon...(: 'cos your words don't translate;
Friday, August 21, 2009 MSG fcuking itself up :( I am living this life. FML. full flush;
Wednesday, August 19, 2009 I'm already looking back I'm already looking around Where did we get off the track What wass it that brought us down I'm already waking up How I've been asleep too long Losing you is hard enough Not knowing anything was wrong Changes come but where they go? You'll never know Just another day like any other Nothing in the sky said run for cover Just another reason never thought it would end this way There was no parade No lights flashing No songs to sing along the way There was no parade Four years were supposed to last You were never supposed to be Just somebody in the past Somebody I used to see Trouble crept up all nights Warning never came a time Before I knew it we were dust Just left behind, left behind Changes come but where they go? You'll never know Just another day like any other Nothing in the sky said run for cover Just another reason never thought it would end this way There was no parade No lights flashing No songs to sing along the way There was no parade No waves crashing There was no one else around for days There was no parade After all the losing never hurt than last goodbye It was sudden as butterflies There was no parade No lights flashing No songs to sing along the way There was no parade No waves crashing There was no one else around for days There was no parade - No Parade, Jordin Sparks this is my now;
Sunday, August 16, 2009 Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENDA (TAN)! YOU'RE NOW 16, AND LEEEEEEEEEGAL! :D Haha, yeah. (: Uhm...well...I guess tomorrow's going to be hell, but wtheck. Who cares? As long as I know my stuff, I won't die I guess. :D SLim takes over History tomorrow again. Quite excited, frankly speaking. I prefer his style of teaching compared to TanSH's. Not that she's a bad teacher, it's just teaching style I guess. SLim works based on how much you read (meaning you don't read, you're hopelessly lost. Also may mean that he doesn't really know much xD), but TanSH's really lecture. Guess I absorb more in SLim's lessons, heh. But I prefer TanSH's marking xD. Lenient like crazy. Aiyah. Sian...go back to study Geog le...bye bye (: no parade;
Saturday, August 15, 2009 Today was great :D Thank you Brenda, Damian, DK, Kenji, Nick Chuan and Ryo for today (: Not to mention Shu Shien who popped up for just that little bit, but nonetheless :D Well, started off with a convo between DK, Ryo and me. They asked if I was free at 1.50pm...blah blah blah, ended up at J8, watched UP with Brenda and Damian, and then went Bishan Library to mug :D Quite productive, managed to absorb quite a lot of Geog stuff, until the other 4 came along. Quickly degenerated into a crapping session, and it continued in Pastamania :p Haha...wish I took photos, but didn't. Ah well, there's always next time. Note to self: Study in the library next time. WITHOUT A LAPTOP :D russian routlette is not the same without a gun;
Friday, August 14, 2009 The way I'm typing this out now is very weird. OR it may just mean that my computer is on it's way to screw up. Even though it's less than a year old. Oh yay. Anyway, thought I'd just talk a little bit about everything and anything around me, since I obviously have no blogging worthy material. Right...so let's just start with (oh my gosh) school. School is becoming hell recently. Sure, Council work has been slacker now with the switching of Teachers' Day OT and CNY OT, and work has been lessened on me so that I can focus more on studies, but honestly, this just puts more pressure. Sigh, when will the teachers ever learn :( Tests! Next week's going to be a crazy week... Monday: Geography, Literature Tuesday: Physics Wednesday: Chinese Thursday: China Studies in Chinese, Biology SPA (not really a test but it's like, 5% of Sec 4 grade so...) HP screws up your social life, period. Then there's Debate. It's kind of fun taking Welfare position, 'cos there are things to do, birthdays to be celebrated, jackets to be produced...well, it's a very cool position, if you think about it I guess. And my mum's watching some Channel 8 documentary thingum, about fake social workers scamming old ladies into giving money and stuff. Honestly, I think it's very low of those frauds to pass off as social workers to cheat the old ladies. I mean, these old ladies are OLD, they are trying to support themselves! Unless she lives in some mansion (they live in HDB flats, mind you), they need to work to get money. And no one would employ a 93 year old, let's get real. I hope those frauds will turn themselves in, 'cos it's really sad to see them being cheated like that, and still forgive the frauds. Doesn't it tug at their own conscience? Low, that's what those people are. Low. To end off, I hate to do this, but here's something that you should listen to ONLY if you're bored and really want to listen to look inside your tiny mind;
Tuesday, August 11, 2009 It's been a while since i properly ranted. But I guess whatever I want to rant is not meant for public view. I guess that's why I have a diary. It's been untouched for a long time though. Let's get it started once again then. :X But suffice to say, I can hardly feel the connection with you guys anymore. Specifically 4 of you. evacuate the dancefloor;
Sunday, August 9, 2009 Cascada's new single is awesome! :D Anyway, this is kind of dumb, but if you actually have the time, watch this please :D you know, the best things in life don't come cheap;
Saturday, August 8, 2009 Blog hopping seems to be one of the most common things I do now, seeing that I don't exactly have a very illustrious Internet life. Just read someone's blog again, and it was kinda depressing, sort of like trying to find meaning in his life. That then brought me to think about psychologists, who help psychoanalyse you and tell you what you ought to do to calm down your nerves, feel better etc. But do they really do that, or are they just saying what you want and need to hear, which in turn makes you feel better? I don't know actually, but it would be quite cool to actually sit through one of these sessions the next time, and then I think I will be able to tell :p But to that particular person, if you ever happen to read this post, just know this: Life isn't all about the bad things. Just because there's always an abundance of horrid stuff happening in your life doesn't mean that your life is therefore officially Ah I love my new Samsung screen :D (21.5"! :D) failblog.org;
Wednesday, August 5, 2009 Had a little fun at the Debate GM today, giving ExCO positions really weird acronyms :D Club Captain (CC i.e. Sissy) - Darion Hotan Deputy In-Charge Know-it-all (DICK) - Glendon Goh (particularly fitting isn't it?) General Administration - Secretary (GAS) - Edward Low Principal Consultant - Projects (PC(P)) - Shaun Khoo (it's just dissing Hwach, so it's not all that funny) Public Relations - Activities and TrAining (PRATA) - Wei Yi Chen Welfare Officer (WOW) - Look Woon Wei (WOW = Welfare Officer Woonwei :D Benefits of creating acronyms is that you get the least screw up one) It would have been awesome if these positions got printed in the Yearbook, but it can't. What a sad life. :( HiC needs working, but I have no idea what to do. LOL, this year will be interesting. Well...let's just hope this term's grades will be decent enough for me to stay in HP. As much as I hate it, I honestly can't imagine myself anywhere else. >.< (Plus, I love the Humanities...except Geog) Ah well...let's just hope tomorrow will be better. 嶺上開花
Tuesday, August 4, 2009 Rinshan kaiho. It's one of the only moves in Japanese mahjong that I actually know the name of. Essentially it means tsumo after a kan. Which is awesome. Go watch Saki. :D Got my dream position for Debate ExCO '09/'10. Welfare. Awesome :D:D Now I can run amok for birthday celebrations and no one can blame me :D I am now God. Haha. Just kidding. :X I don't know what to blog nowadays. Sigh. Tattoo by Jordin Sparks is awesome though. So is Sex and the City. And One Fifth Avenue.
