Thursday, November 26, 2009 I never knew when someone is called a disaster magnet, the gravity of it wold be so...bad. Well, disaster magnet I was today, first dropping my Compaq on the ground, then my PSP went KABOOMZ. Compaq - screen cracked to bits, can't see anything for nutters. Needed to get a new computer, sigh. PSP - apparently I leaned on my bg little too much, and...yeah, screen cracked -.- Disaster magnet 100X efficiency. I am so proud of myself. Not. By the way, if you see Glendon, do HCDB8s a big favour and knee him in the balls. Or where that area is supposed to be (we cannot ascertain the presence of balls). Thank you. volume rocker;
Wednesday, November 18, 2009 Forgiving and forgetting is kind of difficult sometimes. The only thing I need now is a HTC HD2. Damn my fickle mind, but what the shit, screw all the phones I was talking about previously, the HTC HD2 has my heart now. Bad. blonde hair flows;
I just realised that waves existent in blonde hair looks pretty awesome, heh. THIMUN is screwing with my mind, dammit. Hrm, it's going to be a short post (ICJ is in session now -.-), but still, what the heck. Next year's MAS Secretariat has eluded me, not that I'm feeling really upset about it. I guess I sort of perfected a type of numbness that helps to remove any sense of sadness, I don't know. Crying is like something foreign to my body, and even if I wanted to, I can't. Until I explode, of course. At least I still have a chance in 37th HSC...then again, maybe not. Suddenly I don't feel like entering HSC again -.- It's a cycle I guess, wanting to join yet not wanting to join. But of course, I know deep down inside, I want HSC really really bad. More than anything. ...Yeah.
ahahahaha;
Monday, November 16, 2009 Somehow I find myself being a phone geek these days, fanatically reading phone reviews to decide my next phone. -.-'' But since I'm already at it, might as well provide a little insight to the phones that have been popping up in the industry, and maybe you'll find a bit of inspiration for your next phone from this post xD Alright, first up, would be one of the most popular phone producing company - Nokia. Nokia has recently revealed two new phones that go under the alias X - the Nokia X3 and X6. While both of them look similar, one is a touch phone (X6), while the other isn't. Both are coming to Singapore soon, and will most likely be released into the European market somewhere in Q4 of 2009. No reviews have been up for these two phones yet, but it is worth taking a look at the pictures (: Nokia X3: ![]() X6: ![]() Then we come to Sony Ericsson. In this case, we delve into the XPERIA series. You have seen the ugly X1, and the upcoming X2 doesn't seem to be any better. But the SE XPERIA X10 promises to be quite a treat, I'll just show you the photo without using much technicalities xD XPERIA X10: ![]() The last mega-producer will be Samsung, and then a little of the not-so-famous brands xD Alright, Samsung has two phones of interest (to me at least), and both are touch phones, one has a full-QWERTY keyboard to boot. They both work for people who are on a budget, but want a little class (hence the touch), yet it is meant for teenagers, who want to customise their phones (beats me. They said it.) Introducing, the CORBY (up in Singapore markets at $299 without contract), and the upcoming CORBYPro... CORBY: ![]() CORBYPro: ![]() So, as promised, one not-so-famous producer. Actually it's relatively famous, just not that focused on phones - LG. THe LG BL40 New Chocolate is the bridge between the old Chocolate series and the new one (hence New -.-). It's quite cool, as the aspect ratio is 21:9, a screen ratio that is commonly seen in movie theaters, rarely in TVs, and, obviously, the first of its kind in phones. It's a full touch capacity phone, so it's pretty cool too. (On a random side note, SNSD endorsed this phone apparently.) BL40 New Chocolate: ![]() Haha, fantasies xD If I can get all these phones, I think I'll die of ecstasy xD Back to reality, I think the most affordable ones are the CORBY series, but if you want a bit of flavour, I'd go for Nokia X6 (I intend to do so, anyway). And this ends this random techie-wannabe post xD midnight cycling into the dark;
Saturday, November 14, 2009 Feeble attempts at reviving an already dead blog. But nevertheless, I'll just try, heh. Okay...Council Retreat, Debates Chalet... Council Retreat It's kind of weird, since it never crossed my mind three years ago, when I sat in the function room in Malacca, watching the 7th ProEd Council step down, that I'd ever do it as well. But, three years down the road, and here I am, at the same crossroad as Izumi had just a year ago. It's not really a feeling of loss, more of just a weird feeling, a passing out phase. It's like, all of a sudden, something that almost seems natural just left. A weird feeling, kind of unpleasant, but face it, I'm a Sec 3, nothing I can do. I guess one of the highlights that will remain with me about this Retreat the most is the jumpshots. Forever trapped in action. Kind of a nice feeling, though to think about it is kind of weird...ah well. 10th ProEd Council will be the largest thus far, and under quite a capable leadership I guess. No matter, somehow the feeling that I should care is not there...jealousy? Not being given another chance to rewrite all the wrongs, to rectify all the blemishes...whatever, really. Debates Chalet ... ... ... I think I'll describe it in one word - wasted. It was kind of wasted, and I think part of it was my fault. Actually, most of it. To add in 'electronic appliances such as a laptop' into the packing list is completely stupid, since it'll just divert attention. But I did it anyway, and looking back, I really should have just insisted on gaming consoles. At least we can watch Edward use the SPINNING GIRL again xD But I guess, apart from the wasted stuff, we should never play Truth or Dare with OB markers EVER again. It's stupid, boring, and really just a waste of time. I mean, isn't the whole point of truth and dare to ask questions with sexual content? What else do you really want to ask? What's your favourite drink? Save me the theatrics, seriously -.- But the BEST BEST BEST BEST thing of all would be the MIDNIGHT CYCLING :D It'd be a pain to talk about the entire thing, so let's summarise it: 6.6KM CRUSING IS TEH BEST! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D Let's do it again at Fac's Chalet, please (: |
